Getting My Parking Permit

Getting your parking permit is easy!

Once you are registered for classes for the upcoming semester, select My Account from the menu selection, and place your permit order. You can also get your parking permit by visiting us in the office. Although we enjoy when our customers visit us in the office, we do encourage you to purchase your permit on-line to avoid long lines.

Before you complete your parking permit order on-line, you will be prompted to print off a ten-day temporary permit. You’ll use this temp permit until your permanent one arrives in the mail. Place this paper permit in your windshield in clear view once you are parked safely and legally! Please keep in mind paper permits will not allow you to swipe into garages so please purchase your permit early. Remember you have to have a valid permit at all times! We do ticket!

Permit target sales dates

Although the sales dates fluctuate each semester/year, they normally follow the schedule below pretty closely. Check our website and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the most recent updates.

What are my payment options?

You may use the following payment options when purchasing your permit:

  • Debit/credit card
  • Cash (in our office only)
  • Bursar account billing
  • Check
  • Jagtag (You have to visit us in the office for this payment option-sorry!)

  • Note: Campus Housing residents permits are available online only and may be purchased via:

How do I know which permit to choose?

You’ll have a couple of different permit options to select from, so familiarize yourself with the different permit options available to you, and select the one that will be the most beneficial for your campus needs. You’ll want to give consideration to the days you’ll be on campus, what times you will be on campus, etc.

ST permits allow you to park on campus surface lots and select garages. NC permits are less expensive and allow you to park in our north campus lots along Indiana Avenue and shuttle (or walk) to campus. However, on weekends the NC permit is valid in the main campus lots. Students may also purchase permits for specific garages or reserved spaces. For a complete list of student permits and where each one is valid, please click here.
