The first floor elevator tower in Wilson Garage will close for necessary maintenance on or about Monday, November 26th. It is scheduled to reopen on or about Monday, December 10th. The garage will remain open for parking, but the elevator will only run from floors 2-5.
Temporary ADA spaces will be provided in Lot 10, on the east side of the garage. An IUPUI D permit or state issued ADA placard/plate are required for parking in these spaces. Additional parking, may be found in the Lockefield, University Hospital, and Riley Outpatient garages.
Cash payments cannot be accepted for visitor parking through the duration of this project. Credit card or validation payments can be made in the garage exit lane.
Tower Garage is currently closed for replacement of the fire suppression system. The garage is slated to open on or about Sunday, January 6th.
Alternate parking during the closure:
The Citizens Energy Group Dig Indy project will reach the IUPUI Campus in December and could affect the way you reach the Riverwalk Garage.
Phase one of the project is scheduled to begin on or about December 12th and will force the closure of portions of University Boulevard and Blake Street. This phase is scheduled to end on or about January 1st. Those wishing to park in the Riverwalk Garage must enter from the east off Wabash Street via Blackford Street.
Those wishing to park in the Sports Garage must enter and exit off of Ohio Street.
Phase two is scheduled to begin on or about January 2nd and be finished on or about January 21st. Blake Street will reopen, but those wishing to park in the Riverwalk Garage will still enter from the east off Wabash Street via Blackford Street.
A project to seal and maintain concrete areas in the garage continues. Approximately 50 spaces will be closed at a time to complete the project, which is expected to last until on or about November 20th. Please follow posted signage.
In addition, an exterior project will result in the temporary loss of approximately 30 spaces on the upper deck. The project will finish on or about November 12th.
